The Government is slowly introducing additional facilities that tolerate the municipal to reach its army using electronic means. In Northern Ireland, the DVLNI have also introduced a telephone re-licensing mass, which is offered to callers with appropriate assurance for the vehicle to be re-approved, as definite by an enquiry on the MID.

EVL helps in the skirmish against fraudsters who fake certificates. It also saves owners’ or keepers’ time, as they no longer have to pursuit for their indemnity certificate when the hardship a new tax disc.
